THE VAULT is designed so plaintext file content and plaintext filenames are encrypted on your device before upload. Operational systems may retain opaque account identifiers, encrypted metadata, file sizes, timestamps, storage accounting, security/rate-limit information, and billing state. Authentication providers and payment processors necessarily receive information required to provide those services.
